The Masked Ball, one of the UK’s most innovative dance parties, returns to Cornwall this Halloween with a bang. This year the event, which takes place in at Flambards Theme Park, Helston, Cornwall, on October 31, 2015 will present the biggest names on the UK dance scene.
For 2015, the team will transform the venue into an elaborate underground Halloween lair dedicated to everyone’s favourite ’80s vamps, ‘The Lost Boys’ with a dress code of fantastical horror. The long awaited 8th installment of the dance music festival will once again captivate fans from all over the UK, transporting them into imaginative and immersive film set of illusory horror.
The theme for the 2015 Halloween Masked Ball is The Lost Boys. Set in 1980s California, Kiefer Sutherland’s Lost Boys hung around a theme park and acted like rock stars. They slept all day, partied all night, never grew old and never died. Now the Masked Ball has unveiled its 12 arenas giving an insight in to what awaits the creatures of the night.
The Masked Ball team produce some of the most trailblazing, immersive music festivals and events in the UK. Enhanced by innovative audio-visual design, pyrotechnics and installations, theatrical performers and out-of-this world special effects, these events are captivating and fully interactive.
Clubbers will be transported into a world of fantastical horror with rip-roaring fun to be had at every turn. In addition to showcasing some of today’s most renowned dance music artists from all over the world, the Halloween Ball will create a captivating playground of carnival rides and costumed performers for thousands clubbers. A creative team has developed twelve arenas of gore-infested mayhem, brain busting anthems and much more…
Wandering through theme park at night, party-goers will stumble across 12 unpredictable nano-venues, eccentric humour and epic raves with a soundtrack of stellar drum and bass, New York disco and terrifying techno, all designed to make your body parts move ’til your soul blisters.
Organiser Kelvin Batt said, “2015 is a real feast of mayhem and debauchery were especially looking forward to the ‘Feast of Fools’ area. This has been one of our favourite venues at Secret Garden Party and its been really interesting curating it with Bloodstone Arts who have a passion for Halloween celebrations. The Demon Drome is just amazing too… but its all the surprises and freaks shows that makes the Masked Ball such an adventure from start to finish.”

GRAND BALL ROOM
Drum and bass heavyweights High Contrast, London Elektricity, Danny Byrd, Nu:Tone, and Fred V & Grafix will top the bill at this Halloween mash-up. But these massive drum and bass stars are just the tip of the electronic iceberg on offer with loads more to be announced in coming weeks. As previously announced, the Main Ballroom will be hosted by long-standing UK party pros Hospitality, making for a monstrous party: perfect for those seeking a heavy, sweaty, dancefloor-dominated Halloween.

Drum & bass is what we do and our Hospitality shows always guarantee an incredible night. I’ve been busy in the studio over the past few months as well, so I’m looking forward to playing out some new music too!”
