Golwan Festival Short Break

Every year, Cornwall’s Golowan (Cornish for Midsummer celebrations) festival snowballs into something amazing.

A celebration of ancient Celtic traditions, it includes dancing, street theatre and live music, and culminates in Mazey Day with mock mayoral elections, parades and performances throughout the town.

Stay at Nancealverne House (sleeps eight), a Grade II Listed 18th Century manor set in idyllic countryside just outside Penzance.  There are 14 acres of gardens and parkland to roam, a small lake with your own rowing boat and a summer house for al fresco dining. A week’s stay, arriving 21 June, is £138 pp (£1,107 total).
