Having hopped across the inlet from Watergate Bay to Fistral Beach, the Electric Beach Festival (12-13 June) is promising two days of top-class entertainment.
Jump start the celebrations with Alabama 3, a Brixton-born band who mix electronic, blues and country styles, and dance to Australia’s ska and jazz group, The Cat Empire, who are headlining on the Saturday.
Stay at 5 Tre Lowen, (sleeps four), a short stroll from Fistral Beach, to re-charge and relax in the evenings. A week’s stay, from Saturday 6 June, costs £168 pp (£670 total).
